This course takes place on the 12th - 13th May 2014. The emergence of a transanal or retrograde approach to TME has been an interesting and exciting development. This blend of techniques and technologies derived from transanal micro/minimal access surgery and single port/natural orifice surgery presents potential solutions to some of the deficiencies that have emerged from the fully laparoscopic approach to TME.
