Core Skills in Laparoscopic Surgery Course

This course has been awarded 11 CPD Points

This course has been successfully running for more than 10 years. Positive feedback has been received ever since the course started. A few examples from the fully booked course that we held in February 2017 as follows:

         "Everything extremely useful".

"All the instructors very approachable and great teachers".

"Large amount of time spent practicing was hugely useful".   ·

"The lap chole practical session was a very good introduction to performing a lap chole. I liked the use of real tissue such as the pig liver and gallbladder".

Based on the feedback received and request from the previous course delegates Laparoscopic Suturing Skills has been newly added onto the programme.

This is an intensive, two-day course focusing on the core skills required for safe laparoscopic surgical practice. The course has been carefully designed to maximise hands-on experience whilst in our centre. The course is equally suitable for the junior surgeon starting out in minimal access surgery and for the more senior surgeon who is either new to laparoscopy or wishes to refresh their core skills.
